About Dr. Kathryn Scanland: Dr. Scanland has 20 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, spanning industries such as education, manufacturing, publishing, and human services. Kathryn provides clients with forthright, fact-based knowledge regarding specific marketing, management and leadership challenges. She has designed and analyzed national surveys, developed institutional assessment strategies, and initiated research and planning strategies to act as a catalyst for education and training programs ranging from colleges in the U.S. to Beirut, Lebanon. Kathryn co-authored the book, “The Jobs Revolution: Changing How America Works,” along with former Congressman, Steve Gunderson, and former Assistant Secretary of Labor, Bob Jones. As a result, Kathryn has spoken to audiences ranging from the staff at McGraw-Hill Companies to the Western Governors’ Association, on issues relating to education, workforce, and globalization. Kathryn earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Greenville College, an M.B.A. with an emphasis in marketing research from Southern Illinois University, and a doctor of management in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix. |
