numbersLeadership Development
Our friend, Ron Heifetz from Harvard (Kennedy School of Public Leadership), defines leadership as “disappointing people at a rate they can tolerate”. Leadership, as TAG helps leaders to understand, is not the same thing as authority or power. Where authority is rooted in meeting people’s expectations (and power is about position), leadership is primarily a series of activities that help engage people in resolving competing values and priorities within the business. TAG Consulting approaches leadership development at three levels with different methodology:

  1. Technical leadership (teambuilding, communication, management)
  2. Strategic leadership (preserving core values and mission, while casting a vision and creating clear strategies for improved performance)
  3. Adaptive leadership (generating new ways of thinking, identifying emerging opportunities, and solving complex problems)

TAG’s leadership development services typically include an assessment phase and a series of onsite consultations with your organization’s key leaders. The onsite consultations include education, exercises, and real-life problem solving. Our approach brings theory and practice together to help you solve the most challenging problems, while developing your leaders within your own environment. Contact us and we’ll talk. You’ll be on your way!
