John is a senior consultant at TAG Consulting with experience in visioning, strategic planning, organizational development and conflict management. He excels in assessing the adaptive and transformational issues facing leaders and organizations and providing the coaching needed to navigate them for missional success. He began his career in teaching, including writing curriculum for the state of Wisconsin as well as for national organizations. He then moved into leadership in the church as a Senior Pastor for 22 years, growing a small church into a large church with multiple staff and programs. He has been sought out in the church for leadership development as well as a speaker on issues of organizational health and conflict management. John has his undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, his Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and completion of post-graduate education through the Beeson Institute for Advanced Church Leadership at Asbury Theological Seminary. John lives with his wife, Peggy, in Lake Villa, IL a suburb of Chicago. |
