Having a strong and long career in business and retail, Kathy Elliott brings an innovative approach to all of TAG's clients. With unparalleled marketing and branding expertise, she has won over 40 national awards for excellence in marketing and leadership.

Kathy's high energy style is directed at driving all areas of the organization through cross-functional teams and marketing, successfully transforming operations into customer-focused businesses. She has extensive experience in strategic, scenario and business planning, quality process management, staff development and training. As a strong advocate of spreading the marketing responsibility throughout an organization, she developed and designed a performance plan in place of traditional business and marketing plans. Kathy Elliott was responsible for the creation and organizing of Reach for More, a national strategic marketing conference for financial executives. She has facilitated the development of many sales and service programs, as well as creating recognition reward and incentive initiatives. Kathy has assisted many organizations with exploring collaborative ventures and improving existing efficiencies and performance.

Throughout her career, Kathy recognized the importance of driving performance through compensation systems and team-based reviews. In 1998, she initiated a partnership to design and develop what is now known as PERFORMULA™ and used in all areas of TAG’s leadership and team development engagements, big and small. Kathy has become a national expert in competency-based performance compensation programs and leads the product development and sales of the PERFORMULA™ Development Company, a division of TAG.


Kathy earned a BA from Michigan State University. She is a graduate of the professional development Executive Marketing Institute and earned a Certified Chief Executive (CCE) distinction as a graduate from the CEO Institute, a university program specifically designed for executives. Kathy was the COO for an extremely progressive credit union giving her experience leading change within and operationally focused organization. She has been a requested speaker on such topics as driving operations through a marketing perspective, women in leadership and retail branch design. Kathy authored a chapter in Sharing the American Dream; A Second Look, and has been a contributing author for numerous articles and subjects in business.
