For most of her career Loretta Rogers Cooper has been intentionally leading small, agile teams into chaos. While most leaders attempt to avoid chaotic environments, Loretta's job required not only leading teams into unstable situations, but also facilitating them to function at a very high level. Loretta comes to TAG from the television news industry. A former ABC News National Affairs Correspondent, Ms. Cooper is the recipient of the prestigious DuPont Columbia Award for Excellence in Journalism, the Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding Reporting, and has been recognized by the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences for her reporting. On a normal day Loretta and her teams might produce live shots from the North Lawn of the White House, fly into a hurricane, or track a presidential candidate through the party primary process. Regardless of the venue, her teams were always keenly focused on satisfying the demands of their “client/customers” ; 220 News Directors of ABC Television affiliates from New York to LA. As the on camera correspondent Loretta was tasked with ensuring that the final reporting product represent the best of the ABC News brand to a global audience. Today, her work with TAG enables Loretta to bring that practical, problem solving experience out of the trenches of network television and into the boardrooms of our clients. Her expertise is in engaging clients around adaptive leadership, team development and executive coaching. |
